Not holding to their warranty
After time the tub became discolored (stained).
Had BathFitter come to look at it (Milford, Ct office).
They took pictures, then called and stated that the home office
said nothing could be done
Some time later we had Bathfitter come out again.
The agent tried Three (3) different cleaners on the stain.
The stain is still thee.
When I mentioned the warranty the manager stated
that it would cost over $900.00 for a new tub.
What good is their warranty?????

I need your help
cloudy spots on metal frame of shower Using Bar Tender's Friend, hot water, hot soapy water does not remove the spots. I need to know how I can get rid of them.
I am not finding fault with your company.
I have used your company on three different occasions to revitalize my bathrooms and have been 100% satisfied. ALL I WANT is information on how to remove these spots without ruining the finish on the frame.
Thanks

Jul 10th, we had a sales rep come see us, gave us a quote, and we signed a contract for a shower stall refit. She took measurements, and told us we could expect a tech to begin the installation in 2-3 weeks., On Aug 3rd the tech came and ripped out the old shower stall.
Only then did he realize that they had ordered the wrong size shower base. He told us that it would take about three weeks to get the correct size from the factory in Canada. So no shower available to use. On Sept 2nd, the tech returned with the correct base, and installed the base and surround.
He told us it would take about two weeks to get the glass in to finish the installation. So still, no shower. On Sept 23rd, we were called and were told the glass was in, but could not get an appointment to have it installed until 10 days later.. So, another month went by.
On Oct 2nd, the tech returned and finished the installation of the glass. Therefore, we were without use of this shower for a total of 8 weeks. I contacted the dealership and requested a discount equivalent to 15% of the total price as compensation for out inconvenience and loss of use, The owner/ manager flatly refused and only offered us a discount that equaled 7% of the total price. I considered this an insult.
I attempted to contact the corporate headquarters a total of 4 times. No one would respond to my emails, or talk to me on the phone. No one would return messages left. The product we got is satisfactory, and the tech did a great job of installation.
However, I would recommend you using a different dealership than the Clearwater, Fl one if you want a timely job done. And I was very disappointed with the Customer Suppport from this company.

Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Do not use the Clearwater dealership of this company
Because bathfitters blames me for the black on the second time caulking my shower.
They do a bad job on my bathroom. They do not honour anything from the workmanship of their work. It's black and coming away from the tub.
The big guy ( John ) is far from a manger . He blows it off as nothing to him. Big money was spent on this bull *** job. I wished I never got them to do the job.
The best part, when I called to make an appointment with a salesman, he gave me a great speech. He sold it alright and I bought it. Fish on a line for sure.
Bathfitters are like roofers, once they have your money, they will not stand by their work and fix it. It's always a fight on the phone.

Verified ReviewerWarranty not upheld
The shower floor has cracks near the drain Issuehas occurred twice and repairs were made. The same problem happened again, they refuse to repair, even though product has lifetime warranty. I can pay to have it repaired.
Preferred solution: Repair
User's recommendation: Beware of lifetime warranty
Very good work
They are very professional, they did everything they said they were going to do. They said one day, and it was one day.
Not only that, but they are very clean, Jeremy that put our shower in explained everything before he got started and went over everything before he left. My home was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. There was absolutely no mess. They are AWESOME !!!.
i love my new bathroom... would recommend them to anyone.
User's recommendation: if want your bathroom done these are the people to call. i have already given their number to 2 people to call

Verified Reviewer |Phony last-minute exuse for cancellation
THROUGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! We set up an appointment last week; someone yesterday called to confirm -- using my time again.
And then this AM, after setting up my morning sked around the appt. they CANCEL on the account that ". . .I live in a high-rise." What, as Rachel Maddow says, horse puckey!!
I live in a 3-storey building. That is a high-rise?
I have a sneaking suspicion why they cancelled at the last minute --but it tells me what UNPROFESSIONAL chickens they are -- and maybe I'm better off taking my business elsewhere. SCHMUCKS!!Las

Verified Reviewer |Very Dissapointed that there is NO Service
We installed 3Bath fitter units w/Tubs and the surround in our apartments. Several years later our Tenants were complaining that the bottom of the tubs were feeling mushy,It just cost us $15,000 to remove Bathfitter and air out the moisture in our walls. We repaired that one at our cost $15,000.
Now another tenant called and said he has mildew coming up the walls from his unit.Bathfitter will NOT REPAIR!!!! NO repair for commercial accounts!
- Quick install
- Deficient product leaks
- It leaks- bad product
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
2 cancellations, 1 due to material not available?/ 1 due to tech testing positive for covid on the day before install, valid?? Asked if another tech is available within a couple of days, none were!
November is the next available date for the install that's 5 months from contract date?? I find this very difficult to believe.
Bathfitter told me that I couldn't cancel ??? Totally unacceptable!!
Preferred solution: Be able to cancel the contract and get my deposit refunded or get a shorter time for an installation since it's been 5 months!!
User's recommendation: Be certain to check all the fine print and make sure that all the i's are dotted and t's crossed

Verified Reviewer |Warranty Repair
Supposedly, Bath Fitter provides a lifetime warranty on its products. I have been trying for several months to get them to fix a crack in the base of my shower. They have not scheduled it yet.
- Delays and poor communication
- Lack of response to warranty problem
Preferred solution: Quicker repair or full refund.
User's recommendation: Don't use Bathfitters. They are not responsive to problems.
2 different lifetime warranties that they would not honer
First tub installed in 2004, developed crack, in 2014. Found out that our original lifetime warranty expired in 2006!
Ok had them replace the tub at our expense for a $1000.00, found a crack today and guess what we are not covered.
The replacement in 2014 isnt covered because it replaced the 2004 one. Jesus they got you by the short hairs.
User's recommendation: Do not use

Verified ReviewerLooking for a solution
The finish on the Bath Fitter tub does not resist stains very well, and the more you scrub the tub, the worse it looks over time. Is there a solution?
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
User's recommendation: Depends on the outcome of my solution request
Terrible Workmanship
Today I am having a different company redo my shower unit. There are leaks inside the walls and grab bars from shoddy workmanship that Bath Fitters did a few years ago.
The base was discolored and peeling. When I asked for the lifetime warranty to be applied I was told that because they had changed their products my unit isn't covered.
Lousy Service! Hired someone else!
Preferred solution: Partial refund due to requiring to have the job redone by a different company due to poor/shoddy workmanship by Bath Fitters that didn't last. Plus the lifetime warranty is a joke! The company uses excuses to refuse the warranty
User's recommendation: Do Not Hire This Company
Excellent customer server!!!
