Jul 10th, we had a sales rep come see us, gave us a quote, and we signed a contract for a shower stall refit. She took measurements, and told us we could expect a tech to begin the installation in 2-3 weeks., On Aug 3rd the tech came and ripped out the old shower...

2 different lifetime warranties that they would not honer

First tub installed in 2004, developed crack, in 2014. Found out that our original lifetime warranty expired in 2006! Ok had them replace the tub at our expense for a $1000.00, found a crack today and guess what we are not covered. The replacement in 2014 isnt covered because it replaced the 2004 one. Jesus they got you by the short hairs.

Warranty not upheld

Bath Fitter - Warranty not upheld
The shower floor has cracks near the drain Issuehas occurred twice and repairs were made. The same problem happened again, they refuse to repair, even though product has lifetime warranty. I can pay to have it repaired.

Terrible Workmanship

Today I am having a different company redo my shower unit. There are leaks inside the walls and grab bars from shoddy workmanship that Bath Fitters did a few years ago. The base was discolored and peeling. When I asked for the lifetime warranty to be applied I was told that because they had changed their products my unit isn't covered. Lousy Service! Hired someone else!

Partial refund due to requiring to have the job redone by a different company due to poor/shoddy workmanship by Bath Fitters that didn't last. Plus the lifetime warranty is a joke! The company uses excuses to refuse the warranty

More than usual amount of complaints for this business, sounds like bad news. I will be trying more "LOCAL" people.

Bath Fitter - Looking for a solution
The finish on the Bath Fitter tub does not resist stains very well, and the more you scrub the tub, the worse it looks over time. Is there a solution?

They are the worst

We had an in home design meeting, we chose our new bathroom. We did not get that bathroom. It makes me sick to even think about our experience with them...their customer service is the worst, they basically charged us for the bathroom we chose but installed the cheapest one they have! We were ripped off! Plus the installer actually stole our 7 function shower head and 60-year-old porcelain fixtures that we were going to sell. Oh! BTW we got a 3 function shower head and not the 7 we chose.Their lifetime warranty costs $30.00 per hour! the caulking is already coming apart after a month and a half! I know this is an abridged review but word to the wise go elsewhere, I am telling everyone who I know never to use this company and also bath fitter didn't even do the job! It was subcontracted to some clowns called bath works...DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH AND TIME!

Leaked in Year 1

The job did not properly adhere to the tub surface and became squishy when taking a shower, Had to pay 2X to remove the vanity. Manager refused to cover cost. Filed complaint with corporate, no response. Poor service!

Dont be fooled by the 1 day install

The salesman was nice but when I called him back, to set up another appt. he stood me up. We.accepted his bid anyway. The installer was wonderful. He was polite, neat. The shower stall was installed in one day BUT you wont have a shower door. It's been 25 days and we still don't have a door. When I called Bath fitter, I was told they have no idea when it will come in. No apologies, nothing. And I paid for this job in full. So don't be fooled by the 1-day in stall.

User's recommendation: Just be aware you may not have a door on your shower for a long time.

Not pleased with my tub

Seems to me, the tub I picked out doesn't look like the picture on display, I wish I never use this company. I was going to have them do my second bathroom, but I don't think I will.

No call back

Bath fitters has lifetime warranty which I didn't realize how much I would need that they're cocking doesn't last and their hardware doesn't either go to call the 1-800 number doesn't work so call the local number don't receive a call back I just need my bath fixed again.

Problems

From the time the the rep was late to the install,we saw a lot of red flags that things just werent right.We still have not got our warranty papers,but are going to try to elevate our frustrations as high as possible,as to this date we still havent found a contact that can get things done.

Dear Sir, Im writing to express the service I experienced. Ive gone to a couple others within the company, but havent gotten anywhere. Your Company (Bath fitters) converted a tub to shower in early August this year in my home. I know its after the fact and Ive signed off as project completed. However you need to be aware of the service thats being given. from start to finish I wasnt given all options. When the service man completed the work. I was in total amazement. The best part of the project was the finished work, serviceman did a great job, however the work is not what I WANTED. This is how things happened from start to finish. First salesman came and he gave me a cost, however the cost he gave me was over the moon. He could not accommodate my wallet. So I decline his offer. A week later second salesman came saying he would like to follow up and see what areas of improvements the first salesman could have improve. Second salesman went over the numbers and made some changes, such as. I stated I wanted grippers in the shower floor, he stated, I would have to get the shower floor redone every 3 yrs. and the shower floor was already slip proof, second, I wanted a different shade of acrylic, salesman stated the white would look better with my decor. So I went with the color he suggested. Third, I stated I wanted frosted doors, he stated I should get the clear doors, so the acrylic would be visible . Fourth, I stated I wanted a soap dish, build in the acrylic, he stated the tower caddy had a soap dish. Fifth, the acrylic does not go all the way to the celling . 3 weeks later I had to call for service due to the fact the shower door towel bar *** seems to be stripped and keeps turning. The service tec. who came out wasnt very friendly at all. If my complaint was the *** why would you bring A open box with just a towel bar and not the *** He stated OH ITS SUPPOSE TO BE LIKE THAT. The other door towel bar doesnt seen to be stripped and doing that. So He did not replace the *** I also mention to him that I thought the acrylic would go all the way to the celling. He stated in a nasty tone That should had been requested when the contract was written up. I thought that was standard. I went back and looked at your gallery of all your tub to showers, the acrylic does go all the way to the celling. If there was a difference in cost, that should had been my decision. My bathroom is NOT what I dreamed of. For the amount of money Im paying, Im very dissatified. I feel like I wasnt treated with kindness and respect. The bath room just look awkward. I just want the acrylic to go all the way to the top, The rest I could live with. This is my retirement home and I wanted it to be to my liking. I have two other bathrooms that I was looking to replace the tubs. I dont believe that will be happing. Please contact me a@ 757-237-****. I would like to send you pictures. As of today 12/13/2020 nothing has been done on their part. The last email they said they can't send me a refund because they bought materials, so I sent an email and asked them to drop the materials off at my house and I would do the install myself. This is all intimidation and bullying on their part.

Right away there were problems the installer wanted to charge me more for extra work. I was at work when he messaged me and said he couldn't shut the water off and was told to leave the job. So I messaged back to forget it and give a refund 2000.00. I was told on the phone the money is not refundable. CROOKS!!! Update 12/5/2020 Company still refuses to work with me.

Poor management

Listen people this is the worst company on earth, Please spend your money that you earn so hard someplace else...The sales guy in Deerfield Beach is very nasty.

Poor service

This is undoubtedly the worst company I've ever dealt with. There has been a comedy of errors to numerous to mention.At this point after 17 weeks of waiting I just want my deposit back and be done with bathfitter forever.I will tell everyone who has ears to steer clear of this poor company
