Terrible service

Bath Fitter, out to do my bathroom poor workmanship very shoddy had to call them back out the window they did they left gaps in it and Im getting stink bugs and ants through it. They ruined my quarter round just a shot a piece of work I beg people please please get two and three different opinions from different companies every day I look at it and I just cry because its just a mess.

Poor Service

A few years ago, I made the HUGE mistake of having bath fitters put in a shower for me in the master bedroom. I paid over $7000.00 grand for this to be done!

I am supposed to have a lifetime warranty for all the completed work that has been done! The calking comes loose all the time; I had had to have these repaired countless times! At least 4 times over the past few years. Now today I call 10/31/2022 to yet again have the calking repaired.

Now I'm being told that there is a cost for this! $250.00 for this repair to be completed. Where the *** is the lifetime warranty? Not my fault or problem bath fitters is incompetent of doing quality repair and or remodeling work!

This is completely WRONG! This is FALSE for bath fitters to offer a supposed lifetime warranty, then to back stab and not honor it! If I am forced to now pay for repairs caused by improper work, I DEMAND my money back!

ALL OF IT! I have also taken legal action in this matter also!

They have no idea how to install or how to take measurements

My wife and I hired Bathfitters months ago. The salesperson measured the shower doors wrong.

When the installer arrived he had to to proper measurements to order new doors that took a month to arrive. Bathfitter sent to my house an installer with zero experience. He ask for our wifi password as he need a manual to learn how to install the doors. He installed everything incorrectly, puts holes in my walls from bagging into them with the shower doors, and he also chipped our toilet.

We called bath fitter again to complain, and they assured us that they would send down an experienced installer.

He arrived today to told us the last installer did everything wrong, now he had to order new doors for the third time. My family is already down a shower for two months, it will be another month before they can get the new doors in.

Terrible company. Does not stand by their word

A few years ago now, I had an employee come to my house to do a consultation. I ended up giving a $500 deposit for the work in my house.

I realized that my bathroom needed to be re-done, and so I was just going to purchase a new tub once I put the walls back. I was within the 2-week time period and asked for a refund. The company would not honor that, and after extensive conversation they were willing to give me halfback. I did not feel that was fair, and they left me with only one option.

To get a mediator through the BBB to make a decision. This cost more money. I did not do it and therefor lost my $500. A company that is this shady is not worth doing business with.

I don't know how they have as high of a rating at the BBB, but I guess they are good at being dishonest all around. Terrible experience and will continue to tell people how awful they are. Seriously, save your money.

If they can't honor their own policies, what are they doing behind the scenes with their products/ installs. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

Poor Workmanship

I am dissatisfied for all the money I spent for the poor quality in the work I received. When tearing out my old bathtub and shower they ripped a piece of the wall outside of the shower and never acknowledged it.

They also ripped up a piece of tile from the floor surrounding the tub and never acknowledged it. On the last day the contractor with one of his tools I'm quite sure by accident put a small dent in my bathroom wall and never told me. I discovered it when he left. I immediately called the office regarding all three problems and they were able to put a sealant around the tub, never repaired the wall, but in exchange for the wall damage they did, I agreed too have them install a soap dish since during the initial consultation the consultant never asked me about it.

I think my wall should've been repaired or a discount offered. I will never go through this company again for any bathroom remodeling in the future.

Dissatisfied with service

April 2022 bath fitters installed new bath shower combination and it is terrible. After completion of the removal and replacement there were issued discovered and we called bath fitters and a supervisor came to our home to see what we were displeased with.

After viewing our concerns and agreeing that this needed to be addressed he left and assured us we would be contacted to correct the items. It is now JUNE 2022 and no one has called to schedule someone to address the issues.

What a waste of money and time. Steer clear of this company and their phony claims.

Disappointed

We had bathfitters install our shower before the corona virus so its been a couple of years. Its in our guest bathroom so I had never used it until tonight and now Im so embarrassed that our relatives and friends have had to use that shower.

For men its probably ok but for women, unless youre at least 58 or 6 feet tall you cant adjust the shower head or use the sprayer. Its up too high. To turn the sprayer on you have to flip a switch up above to reroute from the water from the shower head. At 52 I cant even begin to do that I finally was able to take the sprayer and after 8 or 9 tries was able to move the switch enough to get some water out of it.

If you have long hair its a necessity to use that sprayer to get all the soap out of your hair, the shower head itself is not powerful enough. Its almost like a strong mist The floor of the shower also gives when you walk on it. Its definitely not substantial.

I wish we had gotten it tiled instead. Ive found out now that it wouldnt have been any more expensive

Leaks in shower head and unit. Called local office,l several times about it, but have yet receive a response to the problem.

Been over two weeks since I 1st called. Still awaiting a response.

I cannot give this company any stars.

The caulking around the tub cracked and water has seeped under the tub causing a foul odor. I have contacted Bath Fitter several times and they have not offered any solution even though there is a lifetime warranty. Awful customer service at the Doral location in Miami, Florida.

I am having the same issue. I recently purchased a home with a bath fitter so my name is not on the account.

Because of this they will not even come fix it for a repair fee, the only offered solution they gave is to buy a completely new bath fitter for ~$1750. I would like to register it somehow and have a different way to resolve.

The warranty should really be based on the product, not the customer. I will be reaching out to a different service to come repair their product.

Inferior in every way

Used car salesman sells pitch - promise everything, deliver very little on an overpriced install. Installers are not even close to being professional or experienced.

Had my installation redone multiple times, only to have them keep reinstalling or adding to my problems. So much for their warranty...

And yes, after the last of the many installs, I still have the same problem experienced on the first install. Out thousands of dollars, inconvenienced multiple times and still have a substandard installation.

Very poor shower install

I had Bath Fitters remove an old damaged fiber glass shower enclosure and install a new one. The doors of the new shower were not balanced and do not stay in place.

The step in floor was suppose to be 3inches and it is 6ins. The removable shower head was suppose to be polished nickel not gold.

the owner had several reasons why it was not their fault for any of the problems. He did say they would level the doors.

That was three weeks ago. Still nothing!

I paid in full before I found all the problems.

The job cost $9000 plus tax.

Right now the shower is not safe for an elderly

person.

I ordered two bathrooms remodeled. I canceled the second one.

I do not have a recipe.

I can not recommend them.

The employees at the Doral. Florida location have ignored our calls and requests.

The caulking around the Bath Fitter tub is cracked and water has seeped through and has accumulated under the tub. No one has offered any help or information on how to fix this problem. The employees do not return any calls.

The install was not what I asked for nor what the sales rep promised could be done. The fixtures do NOT look like brushed nickel. They have a gold tint. Plus there are smudges in the metal itself.

Poor product quality of the fixtures. Smudges in the metal that wont clean out.

Poor install. Woodwork next to tub is now buckled. Gouge in liner. Surround wasnt up to ceiling as the sales rep promised could be done.

Very very unhappy.

Got no satisfaction from the man who came to look at problems. Just excuses.

Wow! This sounds like the EXACT issues we are experiencing with the Kent, Ohio office.

We definitely regret choosing Bath Fitter. Poor customer service and horrible installation and repairs. During one of the re-installs, the repairman took out the perfectly fine brushed nickel hardware and replaced with bronze looking hardware. It doesn't Atchison and looks awful!

The tech who came back out was so rude and unfriendly he said 1. It would wear over time and eventually look like brushed nickel. Then, 2. It doesn't match the other hardware because they no longer use Speakman hardware so they can no longer get what we chose abd agreed upon in the contract.

So frustrating and we are over it all! We are promised phone calls and emails that we never receive. I've taken several days off to deal with issues and repairs since the initial install in April. The first install had to be completely redone because it was done so horribly wrong!

Nothing but problems from day one.

They basically took our money with nothing in return. BEWARE OF KENT, OHIO OFFICE!!
